The common question that arises about Homeopathy is how a substance that inflicts illness can be used to treat the illness by using the same substance in smaller quantities. The science behind this medical practice is that agents that inflicts illness when administered in smaller amounts can stimulate the body’s immune system and improve the ability of the body to heal on its own.

The most notable point in Homeopathy practice is that the treatment is customized to each patient’s requirements. Factors such as specific symptoms, health history, and body type.  No two patients suffering from the same illness are treated the same way. Only after a thorough examination and evaluation, the Homeopathic doctors regulate the treatment for each patient. Each person is treated as a unique individual.

A Homoeopathic doctor will engage in discussing the family history, medical history, personal features, daily routines, food habits, relationships, stress factors, etc in order to establish a treatment module. Each individual reacts distinctively to different doses of Homeopathic medicines. The dose requirement varies from much higher doses to lower doses depending on the individuals’ needs. The doses fixed are always started off with the minimum possible dose that is just enough to derive the benefits.

In order to get a  better understanding and a wide idea about the patient’s symptoms, lab tests are also undertaken.  The test results along with the inputs obtained from the discussion with the patient, the homeopathic doctor will get a fair idea of the patient’s conditions and thereby qualifies them to help the patients.
